LEADERSHIP TRANSITION
For the past several years, One Eighty has been led by a shared, three-person leadership team made up of Jenny Halupnik (Director of Engagement), Carmen Fish (Director of Finance), and Dakotah Smith (Director of Operations).
After an exciting four years together, Carmen and Jenny have both discerned that this is the right time to retire from their roles and step into a new season of life. Dakotah is fully committed to continuing in a leadership role and will help guide our team with steadiness and care throughout this transition.
The One Eighty Board of Directors has prayerfully decided that now is the right time to establish a new Executive Director position — someone who can build on our strong foundation and lead the ministry into its next season with clarity, alignment, and faithfulness to our mission. We anticipate a hire date in fall 2026.
Because this leadership transition matters so much, the Board has formed a Search Committee and engaged an executive search firm, JobFit Matters, to help lead a national search. The firm conducted a survey and more than 25 listening sessions in February 2026. You can see the executive summary of the results below.
The Search Committee is chaired by board member Scott Kochuyt. If you have thoughts or candidate suggestions to share with Scott, please contact him at skochuyt@gmail.com.
