About the event
We invite you to join us for the One Eighty Family & Friends Support Group, facilitated by our partners at NAMI.
This group is designed for family members and friends who are supporting or have been impacted by a loved one struggling with substance use disorder or another mental health condition. NAMI facilitators provide education on mental health diagnoses — including, but not limited to, substance use disorders — along with guidance on healthy and effective communication strategies and other tools to support loved ones.
Participants also have the opportunity to listen, ask questions, and connect with others who understand the challenges of walking alongside someone facing mental illness or addiction.
Important notes:
Your adult loved one does not need to be a resident or participant at One Eighty for you to attend.
Free childcare will be provided by volunteers if needed upon request
Future meetings will be held on the second Wednesday of every month, 6:30–7:30 p.m.
When you arrive at 601 N. Marquette St. (our main office building) you can pull around to the back of the church building and the meeting with be held up the stairs in the old school building in Classroom One. A ramp is located next to the building for accessible entry. If you have any questions or need help finding us, please call 563-499-0121. We hope to see you there!
